Belgrade, November 6, 2024 — Organized by the Public Procurement Office, a round table was held today at the Palace of Serbia to present the Draft Action Plan for 2025 as part of the Public Procurement Development Program for the Republic of Serbia (2024-2028). This event brought together representatives from state authorities, the business sector, non-governmental organizations, and the international community to contribute to the development of the Action Plan, which is part of a comprehensive four-year public procurement program.
During the event, participants learned about the goals, measures, indicators, and activities outlined in the Draft Action Plan for the coming year and had the opportunity to share their opinions to help create a higher-quality document.
The four-hour round table is part of a public consultation process launched by the Public Procurement Office on October 25 through the eKonsultacije portal, which invites all interested parties to provide feedback. Comments, suggestions, and objections can be submitted via the portal or by email to office@ujn.gov.rs until November 12, 2024, with the public discussion expected to begin in December. Through this initiative, the Public Procurement Office aims to ensure transparency in the document preparation process and the development of a procurement system in Serbia that reflects broad public input.
The round table was organized with the support of the "EU Public Finance Management Facility " project, financed by the European Union and implemented by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), in partnership with the Center for Excellence in Finance (CEF) and the Ministry of Finance of Slovakia.
